Subject: Firefighter Request for Presidential Commission on 9/11 Dear Chief, We, the undersigned, are reaching out to you regarding a firefighter-driven initiative that is being presented to the current White House administration by former Congressman and ex-Vice Chair of the Armed Services and Homeland Security Committees, Curt Weldon. As a retired Fire Chief, he was - and still is - a staunch advocate for all first responders.  His initiative consists of 8 Task Forces: 1 - Presidential Task Force on Firefighter Health, Safety, and Welfare 2 - Presidential Task Force on Youth Firefighter Recruitment (K-12 Program) 3 - Presidential Task Force on Firefighter Benefits (Responder Lifeline Program) 4 - Presidential Task Force on Fire Service Technology 5 - Presidential Task Force on Natural Disasters & Wildfire Response 6 - Presidential Task Force on a National Firefighter & EMS Memorial & Communications Hub 7 - Presidential Task Force on a National Firefighter & EMS Training & Simulation Center 8 - Presidential Task Force on a New 9/11 Investigation  While the first seven are important in their own right, the one we wish to bring to your attention is #8, which calls for a Presidential Commission to re-examine the destruction of the three World Trade Center Skyscrapers on September 11, 2001. Citing the scientific evidence that has come to light over the years, such as the symmetrical, near-freefall collapse of WTC 7 (which was never hit by a plane) in just under 7 seconds, the evidence of nanothermite discovered in all the WTC dust samples, the eyewitness accounts of visible and audible explosions by 156 firefighters, in addition to his discovery of the military operation called Able Danger, Weldon is pushing for a reinvestigation of unanswered questions regarding the 9/11 attacks. Its goal is to uncover what was omitted from the original 9/11 Commission Report, ensuring truth, accountability and transparency in honor of the 343 firefighters and all those who perished that day. Congress just recently established a House Oversight Committee to release the files pertaining to 9/11 as well as the murders of JFK, RFK and MLK Jr., among others, but that is a different and separate matter. Curt Weldon is asking President Trump for an independent Presidential Commission on 9/11, free of bureaucrats and politicians to reinvestigate what really happened at the World Trade Center that day. You can read the document being submitted to the White House here, and watch a short clip that features Congressman Weldon and the firefighters' perspective, plus a clip of Trump's promise to release the 9/11 files. As you can see from the signatures below, this initiative is already being supported by high-ranking firefighters. If you would consider adding your name, or firehouse, please do so by emailing Capt. Emeritus Raul Angulo at captainangulo@gmail.com. We would also appreciate you sharing this information with others.
