Remember Flight MH17 that was shot down……. there were bodies, luggage, engines and plane debris spread out everywhere. Shanksville….. nada!

When MH17 was shot down, it was cruising at 33,000 feet. Therefore the free fall acceleration of the debris (minus wind resistance) would have been travelling at 993.55 mph when it hit the ground. But as you can see, debris is in large chunks and spread out over a wide area. Flight 93 impacted the ground at appr. 580 mph and as you can see from the images, there is no plane.

“The purpose of the test was to determine the impact force, versus time, due to the impact, of a complete F-4 Phantom — including both engines — onto a massive, essentially rigid reinforced concrete target (3.66 meters thick). Previous tests used F-4 engines at similar speeds. The test was not intended to demonstrate the performance (survivability) of any particular type of concrete structure to aircraft impact. The impact occurred at the nominal velocity of 215 meters per second (about 480 mph). The mass of the jet fuel was simulated by water; the effects of fire following such a collision was not a part of the test. The test established that the major impact force was from the engines. – 11:59 a.m. (10:59 a.m. CDT) four Air National Guard fighters and a refueling tanker from Tulsa, Oklahoma were told to chase the Learjet, but got no closer than 100 miles from it.
– 12:25 – 12:39 a.m. (11:25 – 11:39 a.m. CDT) NTSB later claims that two Tulsa fighters were with it between 12:25 and 12:39 p.m., and were able to visually inspect it. “It’s looking like the cockpit window is iced over”
– 12:10 p.m (11:10 p.m. CDT) the Northeast Air Defense sector estimated the Learjet would run out of fuel in one hour.
– 12:13 p.m. (11:13 a.m. CDT) Two Oklahoma-based Air Force F-16s were next called to intercept the Learjet (11:13 CDT), and later were joined by two Air National Guard F-16s from North Dakota.
– 12:54 p.m. (11:54 a.m. CDT) Two Air National Guard fighters from Fargo, North Dakota intercepted the Learjet. Soon after 1:14 p.m., it crashed in swampland, after spiraling to the ground.
– 1:16 p.m. (12:16 p.m. CDT) the F-16s following Stewart’s plane reported the jet had run out of fuel and was spiraling through the clouds.
– 1:20 p.m. (12:20 p.m. CDT) Crashed in South Dakota at 12:20 pm CDT (1:20 pm EDT) 2 miles south of Mina or just west of Aberdeen into an empty field.

From the time they decided to scramble jets, to the time jets arrived at the Payne Stewart’s plane, between 18 and 22 minutes had elapsed (depending on what news source you want to believe.) If a plane is heading for the Pentagon and it is known that two jets have already been hijacked by Terrorists and crashed into the WTC. Shouldn’t the largest and most powerful military on the face of the earth be able to respond to the event?

According to an Air Force summary, after contact was initially lost, two F-15s from Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., were sent to track the Learjet. The F-15s pulled back and two F-16s in the air from Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., moved in to track the aircraft.

After the Learjet reached the Midwest, the Eglin F-16s pulled off and four F-16s and a midair refueling tanker from the Tulsa National Guard followed it.

Eventually, two F-16s from Fargo, N.D., moved in close to look into the windows to see if the pilot was slumped over and to help clear air space. Officials hoped that the F-16s could provide assistance to anyone on board who might have helped land the plane safely.”

As the Lear 35 eerily raced across a half a dozen states, Stewart’s Australian-born wife Tracey, following the drama on television, tried to reach her husband on his cellular phone, according to her brother.
