Before we determine if the Towers and Building 7 collapsed at Free Fall. First it’s important to learn what free fall acceleration is.

“When an object is falling freely, the force of gravity is doing work against the resistance from inertia and the air resistance or drag on the object.”

What this means in layman’s terms is that an object can only reach free fall acceleration from gravity alone with NO resistance from Air or Inertia.

From experimentation, it has been discovered that, near the surface of the Earth, Earth’s gravity will produce a downward acceleration of 32.2 feet per second per second. (9.81 meters per second per second). What that means is that an object:

After falling one second, will be falling at 32.2 ft/sec.
After the 2nd second, it will be falling at 64.4 ft/sec.
After the 3rd second, it will be falling at 96.5 ft/sec.
After the 4th second, it will be falling at 128.7 ft/sec.
After the 5th second, it will be falling at 160.9 ft/sec.
After the 6th second, it will be travelling at 193.0 ft/sec.
After the 7th second, it will be travelling at 225.2 ft/sec.
After the 8th second, it will be travelling at 257.4 ft/sec.
After the 9th second, it will be travelling at 289.6 ft/sec.
After the 10th second, it will be travelling at 321.7 ft/sec.

Note: The velocity is achieved without any aero-dynamical resistance (vacuum). The air resistance will be significant for higher velocities or for object with large surface area to mass ratio – feathers or similar.

To give you an example of Free Fall Acceleration, when Felix Baumgartner made his record jump in 2012, he was timed at 4 minutes and 20 seconds in free fall. Before Felix Baumgartner pulled his parachute, he was travelling at 843.6 mph (1237.28 ft/sec).

On 9/11 we were told that the block on the left fell through the path of greatest resistance at nearly the same rate it would have taken to fall through air. Not only is this physically impossible but it also violates Newtons laws of motion. Objects cannot fall through the path of most resistance at near free fall speeds.

DID THE TOWERS COLLAPSE AT FREE FALL SPEED?

It’s very important to state that the Towers did NOT collapse at “Free Fall” but they did collapse at NEAR free fall acceleration. NIST claims the towers collapsed in 9 and 11 seconds respectively but from video footage, it appears the collapses took between 11-14 seconds. Let’s look closer.

First lets find the HEIGHT (h) of the North (WTC 1) and South (WTC 2) Towers.

It’s very important to state that the Towers did NOT collapse at “Free Fall” but they did collapse at NEAR free fall acceleration. Although, judging by other Controlled Demolitions I sourced in this note, not all CD’s come down at FREE FALL either.
