“Northwest Airlines Flight 253 was an international passenger flight from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands, to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport in Romulus, Michigan, United States. The flight was the target of a failed al-Qaeda bombing attempt on Christmas Day, December 25, 2009, in which a passenger tried to set off plastic explosives sewn to his underwear. There were 290 people on board the aircraft”

“The convicted bomber in the “Christmas Day bombing attempt”[2] was 23-year-old Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian who had concealed plastic explosives in his underwear but failed to detonate them properly. WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT THE “UNDERWEAR BOMBER”

Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, the University College London student from Nigeria accused of trying to detonate a mixed liquid-powder device on a Northwest Airlines/Delta Airbus 330, flight 253, as it approached Detroit from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on Christmas Day appears to have received some special treatment from security at the Amsterdam airport.

1) Son of Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, the former chairman of First Bank of Nigeria.
2) Father claims he reported the extremist views of his son to Nigerian security agencies, as well as to the U.S. embassy.
3) has been linked to an “Al Qaeda” plot to destroy the American airplane over Detroit.
4) He paid cash for a one way ticket to Detroit.
5) Did not check any luggage and was only wearing a T Shirt.
6) Was able to board Flight 253 without a passport.
7) There has been no video footage released of the bomber, WHY?
8) Was escorted on the plane by another man in a suit.
9) Was on the No fly and Terrorist watch list.
10) Was not stripped searched before boarding.
11) Either did not do his job correctly or was given a bomb with no source of detonation.
12) He first pleaded Not Guilty
13) First day of trial pleaded Guilty.
14) Serving Life in prison.
15) Turns out he was working with the CIA.
