At least two plaintiffs have attempted to obtain videos seized by the FBI, using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The first, documented at Flight77.info, began with a request to the FBI in October of 2004. The second, undertaken by the Judicial Watch, Inc. began with a request to the Department of Defense (DOD) in December of 2004. Following is a timeline of the requests and subsequent lawsuits.

September 9, 2005: Special Agent Jacqueline Maguire of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division files a DECLARATION describing her search for records responsive to Bingham’s FOIA request. Maguire admits to determining that 85 videotapes in the FBI’s possession are “potentially responsive” the request, that she personally viewed 29 of the tapes, and that she located only one videotape that showed the impact of Flight 77 into the Pentagon. Maguire also refers to “one videotape taken from a closed circuit television at a Doubletree Hotel in Arlington Virginia,” but states that it did not show the impact of Flight 77.
September 26, 2005: Hodes files a request seeking “copies of 85 videotapes in the possession of the FBI described in the declaration of Special Agent Jacqueline Maguire dated September 7, 2005.
October 20, 2005: The DOJ sends a letter to Hodes claiming that the requested material is exempt.
October 24, 2005: Hodes appeals the DOJ’s October 20 claim that its material is exempt.
February 22, 2006: Judicial Watch, Inc. files a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia seeking declaratory and injunctive relief against the Department of Defense for its refusal to disclose records sought under the FOIA request.
May 5, 2006: Judge Friedman orders the defendants to show cause on or before May 26, 2006 why their motion for summary judgment should not be denied as moot, noting that the criminal proceedings against Moussaoui have ended.
May 16, 2006: Judicial Watch obtains two videos from the DOD, and posts them on their website. The site is down for about half of the day due to demand.
September 15, 2006: Judicial Watch announces the release of video from CITGO gas station. The video consists mostly of views of the interior of the gas station and does not appear to capture the attack.
December 2, 2006: Judicial Watch obtains a video recording from the Doubletree Hotel in Arlington. The video, which does not include a view of the Pentagon’s facade, shows an explosion but does not capture an approaching jetliner.

VIDEO MANIPULATION?
Is the Pentagon CCTV footage authentic? I have listed several reasons why I believe the frame(s) have been manipulated, edited, photoshopped or removed.
Reason Number 1 – There is no shadow from this “smoke trail/nose cone” on the lawn but very noticeable from the fireball in the very next frame. Also, the Govt must determine if this is the “Nose cone” or the “Smoke trail”, they can’t have it both ways. Also notice how the thick cork screwed “smoke trail” disappears within one frame.
Reason number 2 – The 2nd frame appears to be missing. Right as we see the “plane” coming into frame, the very next frame is a half exploded fireball. How did this happen within 1 second? The 3rd and 4th frames go back to real time as the fireball is a little larger.
As we saw with the towers. The plane entered the buildings and then the explosion. But in the CCTV footage video, we see the fireball so quickly. I believe a frame has been removed.
Reason Number 3 – The time stamp is dated for Sept 12th and the time is wrong. Who added these time stamps to the CCTV footage?
Reason Number 4 – Why would the Govt release crappy quality/slow frame rate that does not clearly show a plane and still refuse to release all the footage from the Pentagon. The video they did release has caused much division and misinformation being spread within the movement. If this was all by design, then it worked clearly in the perps favor.
Reason Number 5 – The “Flash Frame”. If you watch the CCTV footage you will notice that one CCTV records the flash on the Fireball Frame. The other CCTV records the flash 8 seconds (Frames) later. Screenshot below.

Here is a diagram comparing the cop car to a Boeing 757. Not totally accurate but this shows what I mean. The birds-eye view will show objects in the background smaller than in a normal view. This should be taken into account when making a comparison.

To make this brief, Brian Austin and Steve Pennington worked for Radeon. The company that installed the CCTV cameras at the security gate. They make some interesting points in this article that begs more questions than answers. Why was every camera confiscated by the FBI except for the 2 CCTV cameras. Are we really led to believe that the FBI or anyone else at the Pentagon did not know that these cameras were not operational? Then he claims that all they other cameras were damaged but claims to have looked at them.

“To blink the pairs of images (showing video frames just before and just after the plane enters the view) move the mouse cursor onto and off of the image area without clicking. This works with both the full and magnified images. These png images are the ones provided directly in the FOIA release and have better color resolution than the earlier animated gif images that were made from them. There has been no image enhancement from what was received in the FOIA request, only magnification for the zoomed image pair.”
