Early reports indicate that the Social Security Death Index (SSDI) list the shooter’s Date of Death as December 13, 2014. This has been the basis of much speculation by hoaxers because, despite the fact the date is currently corrected in the SSDI, it is used to push a conspiracy theory that the shooter died the day before the shooting and therefore could not have been the shooter.

Since the shooter was found deceased in Classroom 10 of Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012 with a self inflicted gunshot wound, it is an obvious clerical error. But how did such a mistake happen? I think most have presumed the mistake to be that of the Social Security Department. Apparently, that is not the case.

One of the matters handled by a funeral home for the deceased is the official reporting of the death to the SSDI. One of the means of such reporting is via a form: Statement of Death by a Funeral Director. (Sample Social Security Department form here.)

A couple of unrelated funeral home websites touch on the process here and here, provided for research purposed.

There are two Statement of Death’s bearing the shooter’s identifying information.

Both Statement of Death forms for the shooter appear to have been completed by by Suzzane Ouellette.

The funeral home is listed as Brookside Funeral Home on Main Street in Plaistow, New Hampshire. Research indicates Suzzane Ouellette is the Secretary for Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home.

Disclaimer: The source of these forms is not confirmed. Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home and Suzzane Ouellette have refused to provide any information or answer any questions despite numerous requests by phone, email, and via facebook. Promises that the “Funeral Director would call back” were unfulfilled. If at any time Brookside Chapel wishes to offer clarification or information, I will reference it. For the purposes of the rest of the analysis, the forms will be given the presumption of legitimacy. It appears these records can be obtained for a $16 fee from the Social Security Department via FOIA here and that is likely how these forms were obtained.

The first Statement of Death completed on 1/15/13 lists “Adam P. Lanza” with Date of Death as 12/13/12. This form provides the probable explanation as to why the original listing for the in the Death Index was listed as December 13, 2012: A clerical error by Brookside Chapel.

The second Statement of Death completed on 1/24/13 lists “Adam P. Lanza” with the Date of Death as 12/14/12. This would explain the subsequent correction in the SSDI to the correct shooters date of death, as it would have amended the first form to the corrected date.

The form, signed under penalty of perjury attests “I hereby certify that I am an authorized funeral director and prepared for final disposition the body of the person named above.” The form is to be signed by “Funeral Director or Authorized Representative” The signature Brookside Chapel’s secretary, Suzzane Ouellette, is apparently that authorized representative. While a clerical error is not perjury, Ouellette’s careless error about an infamous easily referenced date seems to be the actual source of countless Sandy Hoaxer blog posts and videos pushing Sandy Hook conspiracy theory.

It is noted that Brookside Chapel is not listed on the Death Certificate, the funeral facility is listed as “Hartford Trade Service” in East Hartford, Conn. This local Connecticut funeral services provider would likely have been the funeral service provider to transport the shooter’s body from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to Linwood Crematory.

Since Brookside Chapel attests under penalty of perjury that they handled the final disposition of Adam Lanza’s remains, it is therefore likely that Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home took possession of Adam Lanza’s remains after cremation.

Peter S. Lanza, Sr

The obituary for Peter Lanza’s father and the shooter’s grandfather, Peter S. Lanza, Sr states: “Peter S. Lanza, 83, a resident of Newton Road, Plaistow, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010”. The obituary continues:

“Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow”.

It would appear, therefore that the Lanza family has dealt with the New Hampshire funeral home in the past. One theory is that that perhaps the shooters ashes were put with his grandfather’s grave by Brookside Chapel.

The obituary for Nancy J. Lanza, the shooters mother and first murder victim is silent as to her final disposition; however, according to Findagrave.com, she was buried at Plains Cemetary, in Kingston New Hampshire.

At this point, it is unknown if Brookside Chapel also handled her services.

It would, however, appear that, according to public records, all points converge in New Hampshire for the final disposition of remains for both the shooter and Nancy Lanza. This verifies the “glimpse” provided by Peter Lanza in New Yorker interview.

I would also appear there is a very logicial explanation for the original error in the Social Security Death Index.

Unless new information develops, it appears this matter can now be put to rest.

Emilie Parker Still Alive after Sandy Hook

Parker’s had three blond daughters, Emilie (aged 6), Madeline (aged 4) and Samantha (aged 3). Now they have two, Madeline and Samantha. The elder girl shown in the photo with Obama is quite obviously Madeline. The family portrait of all three girls was apparently taken in 2010, when Emilie was about the same age that Madeline is now. Obviously the dress is a hand-me-down.

The claim is based on photo taken at a meeting between President Obama and the Parker family. Two low resolution photos of this meeting were used in the conspiracy theory posts:

Even there though you can tell the difference, Emilie had a broader nose than Madeline.

DISINFO: Katie Foley and Alex Israel are the same Crisis Actor.

In one of the more bizarre sub-aspects of some conspiracy theories, some theorists have become convinced that all news reports are staged using actors. Even more oddly they become convinced that the same actors crop up again and again. They validate this theory by occasionally finding low-resolution images of people who look superficially alike from a certain angle. But when you get some actual high resolution images of the people involved, it’s always apparent they are different people. It’s like there’s a subset of conspiracy theorists who are face blind. These two women, for example, were presented (via low resolution screen-grabs of them making the same expression) as being the same person, and hence evidence that the Foley beheading and the Sandy Hook shootings were faked.

MISINFO: What guns were used in the Sandy Hook shooting by Adam Lanza?

The gun discrepancy. This can be chalked up to contradictory reporting, which is going to happen when the media competes with itself to be the first one to break any new details. There have already been articles discussing these discrepancies. What is known for sure is he carried at least 2 handguns into the school and had a shotgun in his car. The discrepancies come in when talking about the other weapons, some sources claim it was a Bushmaster AR-15, others claim it was 2 additional pistols and the AR was left in the trunk with the shotgun. Recent reports have concluded that the shooter did in fact carry 2 pistols and a Bushmaster AR-15 into the school with him. The video just merges all of these conflicting reports to say how the story doesn’t make sense. This isn’t evidence of a conspiracy, just terrible reporting and fact checking.
Update: The State Police released a new report today January 22nd, 2013 (over a month after the shooting and a week after my post)…to clear up confusion around the conflicting reports. source

Police said they found a Bushmaster .223 caliber model XM15-E2S rifle with high capacity 30 round clips, a Glock 10-mm handgun and a Sig-Sauer P226 9mm handgun inside the school.
Police identified Adam Lanza as the gunman who shot and killed 20 first graders and six staff members.
Police also searched Lanza’s car, which was in parking lot, and found an Izhmash Canta-12 12-gauge shotgun.

Gene Rosen, the man who sheltered in his home six children who escaped from the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary, did not, as claimed by the video, take in a group of kids whom a bus driver unquestioningly left with a stranger and then keep custody of them for half an hour without contacting anyone or ascertaining what had happened to them. Rosen and the bus driver both stayed with the children at Rosen’s house, elicited from them what had taken place at the school (a process which took some time because the children were initially reticent to talk about what they had witnessed), obtained and called emergency contact numbers to reach their parents, and took them to authorities at a nearby fire station:
[Rosen] went in his garage to feed the cats and when he came out he saw six children sitting in a circle on his front lawn.

The six first-graders somehow had escaped from Sandy Hook Elementary School as a gunman shot and killed 20 young students and six educators.

They ran down Dickinson Drive and around the corner to Rosen’s house on Riverside Road — less than half a mile away. They had just seen their teacher die.

Rosen invited the children and a bus driver who was

with them into the safety of his home.

Two of the boys sat on a rug in front of the couch, Rosen said, and suddenly they began to talk.

“One boy started saying loudly, ‘We can’t go back to the school, we can’t go back to the school, our teacher is gone. Ms. Soto is gone.'”

The other boy joined in, “He had a little gun,” Rosen recalled the boy saying, “and a big gun.”

A girl also began talking. She said she saw blood coming from Soto’s mouth, then the girl fell to the floor, Rosen said, and the narrative stopped.

The children with Rosen knew their phone numbers, but [their] parents were not home. The bus driver called a supervisor and obtained emergency contacts for the parents and more calls were made.

Parents of four of the six children were reached and learned their children were safe. They rushed to Rosen’s house, he said. After reuniting the children with their parents, the group walked to the firehouse next door, where students were being accounted for.
Contrary to what is stated in the video, Gene Rosen, a retired psychologist, is not a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). The claim that he is a SAG member originated with a video showing the results of an Intelius search on a Gene Rosen who is listed as once having worked for the Screen Actors Guild. However, the Gene Rosen whose information is shown in that video is clearly a different person than the one who sheltered several schoolchildren in Connecticut, as the former is 62 years old and is listed as having lived in California, Texas, and New Jersey (but not Connecticut), while a similar search on the “real” Gene Rosen confirms that he is 69 years old and has not resided outside of Connecticut.

The claim that Gene Rosen mentioned looking a casualty list that supposedly wasn’t released until two days after his interview is also false. As documented in a Telegraph article, state police made a casualty list publicly available the day after the shootings.

The (false) theory is that the media interviews with parents at Sandy Hook were staged by “crisis actors” who only pretended to be parents, and actually did not even live in Sandy Hook. This is the most common example, Nick and Laura Phelps, who are supposed to by played by a couple called Greenberg/Sexton. Top photo is the typical image that accompanies this theory

The upper image is the Phelps being interviewed by CNN. The lower image is supposedly the Greenbergs/Sextons. There’s a superficial resemblance, but many people claim it’s obviously the same people.

This claim of ‘evidence’ is a gap of about 5 years where there was no archives on the wayback machine.

The first save is in around 2000 and then it stays steady until 2008 and then completely stops. Then there’s a save in 2013.

As we all know, this was not when the site was actually saved or updated, just when the site was crawled using the wayback machine.

1. Who directed the New Haven FBI field offices to classify the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting on Dec 14, 2012?

2. Why and for what reason would the FBI classify the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting when they did not classify the Columbine shooting which also was a Mass casualty shooting incident?

Any thinking person knows that the question regarding an FBI procedure is not addressed to Connecticut State Police (CSP). The FBI does not report to the Connecticut State Police. Who runs the FBI and tells them what to do? We can all speculate; however, none could fairly claim that the answer is “police officers in Connecticut”.

Back on point, this question is basically a “who and why” of the same question and are answered together, thus:

The answer is Book 2 Document 182743.

CSP did a FOIA request to get the FBI report for themselves. The FBI, through Special Agent Kimberly Mertz, responded to the request on July 23, 2013. A notification from the FBI dated July 18, 2013 advised CSP that the FBI was releasing 109 pages of 173 pages of their report pursuant to FOIPA Title 5, US Code 552/552a.

The FBI included a notification that there are three discrete categories of law enforcement and national security records that are excluded from FOIA as in USC 5 552(c) .

All 109 pages of the FBI report that the State Police received are INCLUDED in the report, downloaded as the above listed document. In other words, the FBI report is in fact, not entirely classified, and has already been released and may be freely downloaded and reviewed. Yes, it is heavily redacted; however, that is the FBI, not CSP.

64 pages are classified. How much does the FBI do in 64 pages? I would think… very little.

Moreover, that has nothing to do with Connecticut or the CSP, who were equally denied access to those 64 pages. Who in or above the FBI decided to classify the 64 pages? Who knows! But the question is not for Connecticut.

The fact is, the FBI had little to do with the investigation of Sandy Hook. This was a state run operation.

3. Who on Dec 14, 2012 was the Incident Commander as required by the Federal Emergency Management Administration in directing the Mass Casualty Shooting Incident at the Sandy Hook Elementary School?
Major Brian Meraviglia, the Western District Commander, was the commander of the crime scene, once a command center was formally established.

4. Who and Why did they not request the Life Star Helicopters knowing that children and school staff are seriously injured and clinging to life?

Four wounded people were transported by ambulance. The premise of the question is incorrect because the report is clear, the rest were dead.

Halbig needs to clarify his question because there were no others “clinging to life”. Who is he talking about here?

5. Who and Why did they not allow the Paramedics and the EMT’S inside the Sandy Hook School to treat the seriously injured or those children and school staff clinging to life?

Again, Halbig’s premise is incorrect, because it is not true that Paramedics and EMT’s were not allowed in the school.

3 of the most seriously wounded were treated by 2 paramedics and 4 EMTs, within the “first response” time frame.

The premise is incorrect because no one declared all those people dead in the first 8 minutes.

While technically, that answer would suffice to answer Halbig’s poorly worded question, for the sake of clarity, I will pretend he asked a relevant question concerning the legal/procedural aspects of the triage of the casualties.

The legal presumptions of death were made by Cassevechia, Reed, and Meehan, using the SMART Triage System protocols; performing four different assessments on each patient prioritizing them based on their apparent injuries.

Cassevechia maintained phone contact and operated as the senior medical person on scene. The paramedics triaged the casualties operating on the legal authority granted by Dr. Pat Broderick, Danbury Hospital.

8. Why does an off duty Lt from the Newtown Police Department refuse to leave his off duty work assignment at a construction site on Dec 14, 2012 when hearing that shots have been fired at the Sandy Hook Elementary School?

Again, Halbig’s premise is incorrect. He was not “off -duty”. Book 4 79290.

He was doing an “extra duty” assignment. The public record of this shows he received a written reprimand for failing to respond (Google). I would ask, how is this relevant? He was derelict, no matter what the answer is. Some people in any place of employment are derelict. He is one.

9. Who at the Newtown Public Schools notified all of the parents in writing as required by CT law that had children attending the Sandy Hook Elementary School as well as every school staff member every school year of all the potential life threatening chemical hazards. The school had high levels of lead paint throughout the entire school, Asbestos in the ceiling time and floor tile, asbestos in the insulation and most of all the school had very high levels of PCB?.

Allow me to educate Mr. Halbig and save him an embarrassing trip demanding answers from the school board.

Page 28 has the required notice. The school appears compliant with the law in terms of safety, reports, and notifications. CT dot Gov website also has their specific requirements. My feeling is Halbig did not research this issue on his own.

Internet postings found by Google indicate that that was the Handbook linked to Schooldesk.net at the time of the shooting.

10. Who provided the urgent medical care to the two children who were not transported to the Danbury Trauma Center until an hour after the school was deemed safe for that 15-mile drive?

I suppose I could fairly answer this question with “Huh?” But since I can reasonably guess at what he is saying, I will give it a try, even though it is based on a faulty premise.

Inside the school, triaging the victims were:
two EMTs: Sgt William Cario amd TFC Patrick Dragon
one Registered Nurse: William Blumenthal
three Paramedics: Director of Danbury EMS Paramedic Matthew Cassevechia, and two Tactical Paramedics, John Reed and Bernie Meehan.

12. Why did the parents of the two children who died at the Danbury hospital not allow their children to donate their organs to other children waiting for the gift of life?

This is a disgusting, irrelevant question to ask the parents of deceased children. Further, the answer is beyond the scope of any rational police investigation. What kind of question is this?

How do you know they were asked to donate organs? How do you know they didn’t? How do you know if murder victims can donate organs before autopsy or how that plays into it? I won’t waste my time on this question because it is completely lacking a rational foundation.

13. What happened to the 500 children and 60 school staff members from Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec 14, 2012?
While one can imagine an almost unlimited response to this question, to keep it focused on the immediate scene, the survivors were evacuated. The evacuation is documented in dozens of sworn statements in Books 4 and 6. Please read the report and ask a specific question that can be answered with specifics.

14. Who was the police officer calling into the Newtown Police dispatcher stating in his words that he has multiple weapons, he has a rifle and a shotgun and who has the rifle and the shotgun as the chain of evidence should show that was found in classroom eight (8)?

Again, your premise is incorrect; you misstate the officers words here and in every embellished interview you give.

However, the report timeline documents that this officer’s name was Officer Leonard Penna.

Why would a police officer by the name of Lt Vangehle at 9:45:21 am on Dec 14, 2012 from the Newtown Police Department after finding a kindergarten female child in the hallway make her go into room eight (8) and leave her? Room eight is a gruesome crime scene with dead children and school staff. Why?

See Venghele, Bahamonde, and Penna’s statements. At the time of this incident, none of the officers had been in Room 8, they were unaware there are deceased in Room 8, and were training weapons in the direction of the girl and operating in Active Shooter formation and under those protocols.

Again, your premise is flawed and your English poor. You failed to read the report.

The account of the FIRST GRADE Boy and Girl hiding in the restroom are documented by their rescuer, TFC Smith in Book 6 47345

He is documented as running out with the survivors in Davis’ Dash Cam at 0957:18. This is listed in the timeline Book 4 184096 and the time line of Davis’ Dash Cam Book 3 55705.

There was no delay in their rescue and they did not wait until the scene was “safe” to rescue them.
